| Review: | Bought it so I'd have a "tote-it-all" pack for winter backpacking trips. I'm 5'7" tall, and this pack, which seemed to fit well while lightly loaded prior to purchase, is a bit too tall for my torso. Also, when loaded, the pack tends to lean left or right, which ends up putting too much strain on one side of my body. The compression straps are a bit too short, and the buckle on the waist belt broke soon after purchase (EMS happily repaired/replaced the broken buckle). On the bright side, the waist belt is very comfortable, and the pack does carry relatively heavy loads. Compared to the cost for a name brand pack, the EMS 7000 was quite inexpensive. |
